Affiliate links

Some outbound links (for example to tickets, tours, or bookings) may be affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It does not change the price you pay.

Paid placements

If a listing or feature is paid for, it is clearly labeled as sponsored or an ad. If it is not labeled, no one paid for it.

Referrals

We may earn a referral fee for sending interested local readers to a business. We only do this for places we would point you to anyway.

The line we do not cross

Money never buys an editorial pick. What we call worth knowing, worth doing, or worth watching is decided on merit, by us, every time. A business can pay for a labeled placement or for help getting found. No one can pay to be called good.
